As an end for my Second year in Taylors University Lakeside Campus
After my last paper on 20th December, it also symbolize the end of my Year 2 Sem 4 in Taylor's University!
At the same time, 2013 also comes to an end,
bye bye 2013, bye bye precious 21 years old and bye bye freedom.
After a year stayed at the KL city, i realized there isn't anything special about it.
it doesn't mean you can either getting a higher paid nor any special treatment,
everything is same.
i find it quite hard to survive in this City as well,
as expected, everything about money, every highway we have to pay, every food is more expensive than other state.
i wonder why i can be so eager to be here a year ago?
damn stupid.
Just take Taylor's University as example,
as a Diploma holder, i have be accepted as a Year 2 students,
BUT
in my first semester (overall year 2 sem 3), i am taking 6 Subjects
well, that's not the worst
the worst is, in my Second semester (overall Year 2 sem 4)
I AM TAKING 7 SUBJECTS!!!!
Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaa, SURPRISE
but
WHY
WHY
WHY
in these 6/7 subjects, some of it i have learn it during my diploma course
but due to the reason
"is from different college, some more we already have exempted your year one, so you can't ask more"
WOW, how persuasive is this !
but the inner reason of it, i guess you all know $
AHAHHA
YET, Please congrats me,
because
i have successfully survive all 2 semesters!
As a PR and Event students in Taylor's,
WE, have finally organized one-tiny-small-pie inner college event.
WAKE UP TAYLORS WAKE UP!!
that kind of event doesn't really help us!!!
i really hope we will have the opportunity to work we industry expert. =S
Now, just let me recall what kind of cool assignment that i have done in Taylor's.
ofcuz i won't listed out everything, cuz even Event students needs to write a lots of report! AHHA
However, Cool stuff need more time, money and effort as well,
1. Promotional Writing Group Assignment 3 -- Media Kits
We have to create a company, and do product launch media kit, including media release, name card, brochure, return post card, product sample and etc.
i believe in real life, most company doesn't really spend "that much" on media kit, but in university, creativity takes everything, so do what you can, include what you want. =)

2. Public Relations PR Campaign-- Zero Tolerance to Sexual Harassment for AWAS (All Women's Action Society)
So far, among all the assignments, this is the most challenging. We are being treated as a REAL PR professional, and we have to help an NGO to plan a PR campaign AND THIS IS SUPER DUPER STRESS!!
i know i am annoying, just finish complained abt Taylor's never treat us professionally, and now complain again because they over-treated us professionally!! AHHAHAH
but even so, i still have to to this, this assignment is really really stress!
we have to do a very detail SWOT analysis and provide wise strategies and tactics.
Although we suffer alot during the assignment, YET we will taste the best.
I am here proudly announced that our PR campaign had been nominated at the
1st Taylor's University School Of Communication (SOC) Stars Awards, Best PR campaign proposal.
and only 3 groups are selected in the final stage
me at the event.
Sadly, we didn't win but still very proud of myself and my teammates!
it was a very memorable experience and also, it proved that I CAN =)
3. Entertainment Management and Design for Events
both module is not fun at all!
very boring! it just that the lecture provide us an opportunity to have fun while doing assignment.
Such as identify the genre of your selected performance.
and we choose Short + Sweet Musical!
Wonderful is all i can say =)

4. Interactive Media Quiz 2 Personal Assignment
Interactive Media means Dreamweaver and Flash.
i dunno why but most of the Mass commers are very bad at this, AHAHA
We already do it in a very easy way, which is directly draw DiV in the design column, choose the provided links such as Anchor link, email link and etc from the menu bar,
but still so many works!
for this assignment, we are required to design a website of your chosen company, and we have to fullfill the requirement listed by our lecturer.
i choose to design the website for my Sunflower Event.
ofcuz the content is organizing events including private, corporate and birthday.
I am inspired by my 3rd assignments from Design of Events, which is to plan a theme birthday for my clients.
